Michael Matthews
Michael Lee Matthews, a professional Audio Engineer and Producer has been in the recording business and live performance technical field for over 25 years. Mike has owned and operated a successful recording studio for over the past 2 decades. Michael is also a professional Musician. Mikes creativity and years of experience in the recording and live performance business, gives him the skill to engineer, produce, master and package your music to a perfect market ready cd. Mike knows the importance off a GREAT cd. Because of his passion for creating success, Mike has maintained a wonderful reputation with his customers and has been a key to the success for many local artists. As anyone who has done work in a recording studio would tell you, a project is only as good as the audio engineer involved. Mike loves working with all types of charismatic talented artists, especially right here in Michigan. He believes there are too many undiscovered talents that need to be heard. After many years of success in the recording business and the advanced changes in Recording technology, Mike realized he would eventually need to meet the growing demands of the Music Industry. Mike recently merged his business [Atlantis Records], with his long time friends Bruce and Virginia Sepanak who owned a private studio. Together as a professional innovative team, Stillwater Recording Studio LLC has been created.
Mo Jones
Mo [Mike] Jones has been a Musician for a majority of his life. Starting with Piano at age 8, to Guitar, then by 12 he moved on to what he would be best known as - Bass Guitarist. He began recording in the studio at the age of 13. Through his lifetime, Mo has played Bass with many Bands and Worship Teams. Mo Studied at the Flint Institute of Music and in 1992, after attending The Recording Institute of Detroit, he received a Certificate in Audio Engineering. He has been Engineering, Producing and Recording music for the past 25 years. Through the years, He has taken his skills, along with his own gifts, to record on numerous projects and to perform before thousands. Mo has enjoyed working and recording with several bands. Some of these bands include: Surreal, Liquid eclipse, Omega Force and Rufus Harris. Mo also enjoys writing and producing his own material. In fact, Mo has just recently finished his Bass Solo Album called ‘Mo Jones Bass’.
Mo is a excellent Audio Engineer, but his greatest passion is in producing. Mo knows from years of experience what it takes to generate an awesome CD Mo works continuously with his clients to elicit quality performances from each Musician and Singer. At present, Mo has become part of the team at Stillwater Recording Studio LLC. He is producing the band ‘Answering the Call’ and working on recording projects with other local artist and Bands. Because of his Ingenious skills in producing, and many years of experience in audio engineering, Mo is a huge asset to the studio.
